Bridget's diary entry
December 15th, 2007
Dear Diary,
It's been a while eh? 3 years to be exact but who's counting? Sorry, but nothing really great and interesting's happened to me during those years. Well that's not true, I finally got my first date when I was 14. AHH. I know! Exciting right? You would think that would merit and entry into ye old diary but I couldn't be bothered to write. Once again, sorry.
So your probably asking yourself, well not really because you don't have a brain, because your paper, unless you do, which would be freaky, cuz I wonder if writing in you hurts...
But anyway your probably asking yourself what has all of a sudden happened in my life that I feel I really must write about it. Well here's the thing. A couple of months ago, Haley, Alexandria and I met these three guys named Nick, Joe and Kevin. Were all friends, the girls and I are the best of friends of course, I mean nothing can come between us, but I've taken a special liking to Joe and he's my best guy friend. Actually it's more than that, I also have this ginormous crush on him but were straying from the subject at hand...
And that subject is....
Oh crap...
I've forgotten.
Well I cant be bothered to try to remember. So here's what'll happen, I'll just tell you all about what happened today? That good for you? Well of course it is you cant argue because you're a book...or can you?
I am now officially mad...
*FLASH BACK*
Bridget watched Joe dance with a small smile, nodding her head to the beat of the music.
When the song ended the clapped her hands, applauding him.
"well done! You nailed it."
"thanks I had a great teacher" Joe said smiling and breathing hard.
Bridget blushed as she got up from the floor, walked over to the C.D player and played the same track of music again.
"okay one more time Joe from the top, together."
They stood side by side, dancing to the hip hop routine she'd gotten one of the best dance students in school to help her choreograph.
She couldn't help but smile at their reflections on the giant mirrors on the walls of the dance studio.
Joe had gotten really good, he wasn't going to be a professional anytime soon but from what she could see, he was ready to try out for a spot in the intermediate class.
And that's exactly what she told him once they were done rehearsing.
"seriously? When?" Joe said happily
"yeah I think your ready. As for when...well your audition's not going to be very traditional. Actually, it may not be in a class room at all..."
"oookay? Care to explain?" joe asked confused
Bridget looked at him as if she was thinking about "um no. No, not really"
"later" She said as she walked over to the C.D player and turned it off, taking her C.D out.
"oh and make sure you bring your swim trunks with you tomorrow" she called over her shoulder. Leaving a very confused looking Joe in her wake.
*END OF FLASH BACK*
Yeah, so that was basically it for today.
It may not have seemed like much but it's a big deal to me. For once, Joe's the one who's left in the dark. YES! Victory is mine!
