I think diversities good but metal should strictly be classified under metal, cause many people i come across will hate a band (even if their music is good) simply because they claim to be metal, whereas they are not proper metal but more of a crossover. Anyway can anybody reccomend any good metal bands to listen to, that aren't mainstream. Because everything mainstream sucks, all it does is suppress questions and serious thoughts :D:D

Thanks, I'll check them out. Well my view of mainstream comes from a more hip-hop,rap, rnb perspective cause they feed absolute garbage to the youth in the form of money, girls, cars, clothes and suppress questions. Basically mainstream is there to dumb down people in my opinon and honestly its working cause there are WAY too many dumb people in the world.
