Sounds like entrapment - doesn't it?
I mean, yeah - fucking' kids is downright filthy - but how many of these guys are 'egged on', lulled into this?
This show practically forces a child down a guy's throat - knowing that although he usually manages to contain himself - finds it difficult to do so when being repeatedly prompted...
It's wrong - but I think this show exploits people as much as the paedophiles do.

I'm sure he is 'the man', but that doesn't deter from the fact that he uses lies, deceit and pressures the men to turn up. There are plenty episodes on here where the predator has said "I was gonna turn around, but then I got your call...", meaning their conscious worked fine - had they *not* been pressured to turn up, no crime would be committed.
This is, for all intents and purposes, entrapment - which is illegal.

Come on, man. Most of these guys are repeat offenders anyway. You've got to remember that a real kid would pressure some douchebag to turn up too. Kids are naive (hence why they need to be protected). And vice versa, these assholes pressure kids to have sex. You can't blame Chris Hansen anyway. Blame Perverted Justice if you are adamant about blaming somebody. Chris just does the interviews (which are HILARIOUS) and that's why I think he's the man.

I agree with some of your points, like; ultimately the fault lies with the perverts - that cannot be denied and I won't deny that.
However, I can't agree that most kids would pressure an adult to turn up, especially to the degree that Mr. Hansen uses. I'm a father of three girls, and I'd be incredibly shocked to find them 'pressuring' an adult for sex. I think your understanding of children is somewhat flawed. My only argument with Chris, is the use of lies & pressure.

well i don't have kids, but i remember high school (and even in middle school) a few of the girls would screw older guys because they thought they were more mature. It's sick, but I knew a few girls who were 13 who were trying to get 20 year old boyfriends. Hence why I say kids are naive and need to be protected. Maybe you think my understanding is flawed because you grew up in a different time. Maybe pressure was the wrong word. Entice or seduce is more accurate.The adults provide the pressure

yeah thats true, in all honesty, about 98 per cent of the people they catch and arrest get off with no charges because its on tv and its entrapment, unless they've been charged before.

Contrary to what Chris thinks, I don't think he looks sincere at all. If one is so weak that they can't resist a friendly willing child, then they shouldn't go to chat rooms where they'll be tempted because, unfortunately for them, they can be held accountable for their actions.
