also they sure do say alot of english words, youd think they would say our words in german, for instance, is painkiller still called painkiller in german?, what is the german word for painkiller??

The game is called painkiller in german too, but if you would translate the word painkiller into german it would be Schmerzmittel

The german translation for painkiller would be "Schmerzmittel" but the game itself is still called painkiller.
Furthermore we germans tend to use some english words(anglicisms) instead of the german ones.
This so called "Neudeutsch (new-german-language)" is more frequently used by gamers than by anyone else (imo). So you could say that games had a huge influence on the way we speak (since not all of them were translated into the german language).

the line coming out of the boss's right shoulder? that's actually a sign that the video memory in their computer has gone bad and they need to replace their videocard. the vertices on the model lose their place and default to the "origin" of the map. i had the same problem with some of my halflife and halo games way back when. After a few months the card finally died giving me BSoD and i got it replaced. fixed the problem.

funny you say 8500gt. i had an 8600gt by foxconn.
first, test your computer with another video card and see if the line goes away (if you don't have an extra one, borrow one from a friend or nearby computer). if it goes away, then the problem can be solved by replacing your video card. if the card is under warranty, contact the manufacturer or place-of-purchase to get it replaced. if not, get a new card. odds are, within the next year, the card will die and possibly crash your computer with it.

what is happening is exactly as i described 1 month ago. the most likely problem is that the card's video memory is bad and the card must be replaced. the bad memory can not be fixed. over time the memory can get worse. my bad 8600gt got progressively worse until one year later it was causing blue screens. get yours replaced.
to determine if this is indeed the case, use your old 6200 and see if the problem persists, and that it's not your system memory or other hardware causing the problem.
