To me, this song is about a breakup. I used to play it all the time after I broke up with this guy I was in love with. We worked together and it was like "sometimes I breathe you in and I know you know" and when I tried to move on it was like "I go from day to day and I know where the cupboards are and I know where the car is parked but I know he isn't you." I love Tori! Her songs are so poetic and emotional.
