I grew up with the Beatles. This concert was impromptu, to a point, it was planned by the Beatles and their manager and appple studios. the concert was on top of Apple Recording Studio in London and was the very 1st time something like ever happpened(another Beatle 1st). Enjoy the great music from the best.

I just got a copy of LIB recently. Hadn't seen it since the 70s when it aired on BBC1. Funny thing, I'd been avoiding it all these years. For some reason I felt it was a sad movie, break up of the band and all that. What a fool me In fact it's a light-hearted, cheery movie, showing the lads having fun and playing great music. And hey, they still hadn't recorded Abbey Road at this point. Wow, some break up... These 4 young guys from Liverpool were the absolute best. Love 'em :-))))

It was actually suzejuice who posted the LIB movie clips (in 9 parts) In the film I love when the lads jam the old rock numbers, Ringo and George and John messing around with an unfinished Octupus's Garden, the long and winding road jazz version, Ringo and Paul on the piano... Ah, hell I love it all, every scene is awesome.
