My son has autism(high functioning Aspergers). He's doing great and now is having the last laugh with all the people who pegged him as autistic: he has made honor roll in school, has plenty of friends, loved learning about algebra in first grade, had his first middle school romance in 6th grade(which crashed and burned--remember those?), and is an all round nice guy who is loved in the principal office(the secretaries let him do anything!). Aspergers kids are great.

Thank you very much, you totally showed the difference between Asperger Autism and Kanner Autism ("classic autism"). You fully explained who an Asperger Autistic really is.
Recently one of the Peer Reviewed Developmental Disabilities journals posit that Dr. Hans Asperger has his own Syndrome,
that is why he picked it up so quickly in others.

I really want to than you for giving a clear description of Asperger Autism, since most of us Aspies get tossed in with those who have High Functioning Kanner Autism.
Dr. Leo Kanner also from Austria, came to the US and started his Autism Center in Iowa between WW1 and WW2, so his version of Autism, the "Autism Speaks" promoted type of Autism. This is High Functioning Autism and all variations of lower functioning "Classic Autism", the "opposite" of Asperger Autism is Kanner's.

I know how to relate to those who have Aspergers you know they are all individuals who, who know what they want they would all like to you to listen and feel what they are saying! they may change there minds many times they may play jokes on you just to test you you just have to get to know them and give them love and be understanding. am i right of course I am not why because they are all different like i said? I just wanted to say that I believe the most harmful and useless shot given to our kids in this country is the HepB shot given in the first hours of birth. It's loaded with alluminum and causes damages before we even have a chance to know our babies!!! The HepB is FULL of alluminum, more that any other shot given, and more than three times the FDA approved dose for an adult is injected into newborns!! Tell you pregnant friends to reconsider this shot when birthing in a hospital, it IS a choice!

I invariably antagoniise people I have tried to befriend and those that have tried to befriend me
it is as if I am looking at them like a scientist objectively - free of any feelings for them

Before you have your children vacinated make them test for autoimmune disorders. Do not let anyone vacinate your children or you may end up with an autistic child. No mercury, thimerisol or aluminum. No petrolium products either. Preservatives are sometime made from petroleum. Yes...I said petrloeum. America is a sick system when it comes to vacinating children.

I personally have trouble with putting the child in this video and on the internet. I don't think it is necessary, or adds to the video and I think it violates the child's privacy. I think children are featured was too much on the internet, losing their privacy at a young age.

Autism has been around long before vaccines. And besides, I would much rather have a child with autism (which I do) than have my child die from a disease that could have been prevented with a vaccine. Anyway, Autism is genetic, they are born that way and will always be that way. If you have a child with autism just love and accept them as is and stop trying to blame something for it, they just think differently. Autism is a beuatiful mystery that can teach us all so much.

My belief is NOT flawed! Especially given the fact that autism in general skyrocketed (increased in frequency) concurrent with the increased amount of vaccinations given to babies and toddlers over the years! When I was a child, we required about 10 vaccines by childhood. Now it's over 30!!! SURELY, the collective amount of toxins (mercury, aluminum, etc.) in ALL those vaccines are damaging larger amounts of our immune system variant children. This is only logical.

Our children are recieving WAY TOO MANY VACCINES!!! Just a few decades ago, when many of us were children, we recieved maybe a total of 10 vacccines by childhood. NOW, it's more like 30!!! Surely, given the fact that these vaccines contain known toxins other than mercury (some still contain mercury, such as the flu shot), it is only logical to assume that we have reached a vaccination frequency point where many toddlers can't handle all those vaccines. This causes autism in many children.

I thoroughly enjoyed your video, and was refreshed to see the light in your son's eyes and his amazing use of language; the true autistic spectrum never ceases to amaze me. I have lived a life with aspergers
the authors description of it right ! my interests have never been mainstream and i am regarded as odd
but I think others are odd - folk that huff and puff after vacuous goals seem strange to me !
not into clothing trends or fads
I can see through pretension as if encased in glass and am tactless to others sensitivities
I think askew to folk; I think aspergers are a different species as sparrows to finch but close enough to tolerate each other :)

Negative. Autism has gone UP. Way up! More children, per capita, have autism spectrum disorders now. It is epidemic.
