The simulator is Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, Blue Thunder is a free add-on that you can download. The scenery is visualflight London, a payware add-on.

Thanks for uploading. The music is kind of nifty and sounds like the theme that plays during the end credits of the movie. It would be nice if we could get a version of this set in downtown L.A. also.

Great! The real helicopter was an Aerospacial, the models were Kavan Jetranger Mechanics. I worked on the original movie Blue Thunder with the company called Impact Effects. I Flew and Exploded all the Byron F-16 Jets. It was a most exciting movie to work on. See my You Tube Video, "The Making of Blue Thunder". The R/C Blue Thunder Helicopters were flown by John Simone who did the loop in the original Blue Thunder movie. This was in 1981 and the first attempted in any kind of heli. Today-4D!

Airwolf? that thing looked like a futuristic souped up piece of shit. BluE Thunder looks tough, mean, and damn fine. and as for fighting, give the Gazelle (the Aerospatialle chopper used for the body) some Hellfires, maybe a sidewinder, plus the ol' 20mm cannon, and BAM airwolf's dead.

This is in Flight Simulator 2004. I used Visual Flight's London Scenery. I think it was about £23 a couple of years ago.

BT was a concept prototype in the movie, remember? the Gazelle was used in the French and German armies to launch TOW missiles, so how hard woud it be to attach ordnance winglets to Blue Thunder? and BT was a military helicopter, the whole plot was based on the absurdity of using a military helicopter for police work! i just like BT's look better; Airwolf looks too civilian, too corporate
and mach 1? in a helo? not gonna happen...
