i was wondering ... ( 1 month ago by turdferguson2)
i was wondering that for a while, too. pretty sure it was out. it looks out to me, it sounds like somebody says 'OUT!', and it's kind of a half-assed swing from roger

it was out, it wasn't a halfassed swing though...if you remember the wind was blowing a lot that day
ok maybe 'half ... ( 1 month ago by turdferguson2)
ok maybe 'half assed' wasn't the right wording, but it seemed like he didn't get all his weight into that shot, so it seemed logical that the shot was out. either way you're right, it was very windy.

Dear lord, what a fast-paced match. It was almost all topsin. Two masters at work. I wish I was in that audience that night.

Exactly, wonder why ... ( 3 weeks ago by chiseller)
Exactly, wonder why it ain't a standard. I mean, it gives you the closest view to reality and it's so much more dynamic.
Wish I could change the view while watching matches ;_;
i have actually had ... ( 3 weeks ago by turdferguson2)
i have actually had that exact same idea before (changing views while you're watching it). i can't believe it hasn't been implemented yet by somebody. also, the reason they don't use this view on TV (i think) is because while this view gives you a good idea of the pace and the speed, the TV view gives you a better idea of who's in control of a point and exactly where the ball is landing

theres not a whole lot of topspin in their strokes you know....agassi and federer hit the ball with a lot more forward action...nadal hits with a lot of topspin. His stroke are almost completely upward so its just topspin. these guys hit the ball around with forward acceleration

Great camera view, good to see the bounce of the ball and footwork at that level.
rockerduff, you're ... ( 1 week ago by miker030)
rockerduff, you're obviously mistaken. they all hit with topspin. There is no such thing as "forward acceleration." fed and agassi flatten their shots out when they want to hit hard, but for the most part they topspin. nadal hits heavier topsin, but also sometimes flattens out, especially on his backhand.

I want to give a "thumbs up", but I don't agree with to you completly. Federers for hand and backhand is mostly Topspin, I mean he's known for his forehand power AND TOPSpin. I've never seen him shoot a flat shot. But I agree with you on Agassi, hes shots are more flat than Federers or Nadals.

the ralley with federers winning forehand, at 4 15 is a very good ralley and federers pace is soooo damn good, and knows exactly what shot to play

Yeah, what you're trying to say is that even though pros hit mainly topspin, their balls have a flat trajectory, but then dip and kick up.
