you take the ribbons -- it's been cut to your package -- you go around the package four times, knot it on the top of the package, pulling it tight. you take your bow ribbon and twist it, pinch it and twist it, pinch it and twist it, making the same sized loops each time, pinching and twisting. you take your looped bow and with the loose ends of the ribbon from your package, you tie it to the package, spread out your loops and cut your ends, and you created a beautiful package.
