The Los Angeles Times has a story on the McCain affair and divorce that is of interest in that it reveals that McCain's public statements do not agree with the court documents, including the fact that McCain and Cindy got their marriage license while McCain was still married to Carol.

This was something that always bothered me about the Clinton's. When she abdicated Bill's appetite for affairs after the Lewinski scandal, I lost all respect for Hillary Rodham Clinton! She was thinking more about her personal goal of becoming President one day rather than kick the bum adultery out and divorcing him like he deserved! When Hillary did nothing about it I could sense she didn't care and had confirmed all of Bill's past escapades! That wasn't being a strong feminine example!
