The pages are torn up
With ink so deep and shrill
The outer world is calling my name
Telling me what to do
Screaming don't give up so hard
Things are turning for the worst

The point of choosing where to veer
The time to understand
What it feels to grow up
Figure who I really am
And what it feels to say I can
