Malaria doesn't "grow". Mosquitoes breed in stagnant water, and hence carry the disease. The disease can only be contracted from a Mosquitoes bite, not from drinking water.

That's nothing. Check out "depleted uranium" here on youtube. U.S. admitted dropping over 300 tons on Iraq in the first war alone. The number of people who served that are sick now (permanant disability) because of this are so high if I told you, you wouldn't believe me. Look it up. Yet the government refuses to aknowledge the danger of DU's usage...

What is worse yet, is the impact this has had on the Iraqi people. 10 times cancer rates, birth defects, and many other health issues. This will plague the area essentially forever. DU has a half life of 4.5 BILLION years. Anyone who knowingly introducing this into the environment should be in jail.

B)where is the second link about the terminally ill soldiers? There are very effective medications out there, so I don't see how that many soldiers could contract "terminal" cases of the disease-- I had malaria for several months (from a mosquito bite) and it was quickly cured with good medicine. All that said, I agree the war blows, bush sucks lets get him out of there, but, please don't use shitty info or the word "retard" as a pejorative it just damages our argument.

Sure, but, it seemed to me as though he was implying that they contracted it by drinking it in the water. I'm pretty sure (this is how it was explained to me by my doctors and the red cross public health people) that the malaria parasites exist by feeding on blood cells and therefore cannot exist in water. I could be wrong though. I'm not an expert.

Yes but all it takes is that you get it in the blood. If the mosquito died or left soem kinf of secrete (inevitable) the water will be contaminated. Malaria was only one in a phletora of junk found in Halliburtons water.
