The part where the flashes of static become the Terminator theme was pure genius. Hope T4 will fix everything that T3 screwed up and bring back the series. New season of Sarah Connor Chronicles is coming too! Seems like a great time to get back in to the Terminator series.

Its just like with Alien. The first one was pure sci-fi gold. The second "Aliens" was a great movie. Alien 3 was watchable but not a masterpiece, and the approaching downturn curve was feelable. Alien 4 was finally total crap from a to z. Cheap story, cheap actors the point to stop was reached. Fans agreed : Please stop. AVP came, even bigger crap than Alien 4 , total bullshit story, horrible actors. Alien fans turned away in disgust.

Transformation from sci-fi cult to mainstream "generation fast food" hundred explosion per minute bullshit was complete. I would give T4 a chance. The last movie left off where we know that John Conner would be in the war by the next movie, and here he is now. Arnold was a machine but when he was sent back in time he had living tissue. We also know that the T3 version of Arnold kills John Conner in the future. Whether it is this movie or a future one, we may see Arnold again, if hes a CG version or just him as a robot. I'm just glad that the main character is a Christian Bale instead of some random person.

I agree with andyk6925 Christian Bale is a fantastic actor and one of my fav films is American Psycho. People complain all the time that there is no inteligence in the movie industry. i think there is depth to this guy and that he will do what he did to Batman. Or mabye i have a man crush! lol
