The woman that called to 911 was amazingly cool and able to explain clearly the situation to the dispatcher. Admirable. I guess I might have lost my cool there when it was clear that no-one is going to help and the woman will die there on the floor. In US movies there is always a hero present to save the day but I guess this is the real ER.

Desentisized. When a people can ignore the protocols or human compassion they have become desentisized.
For example, if people think of someone as worthless and less than they are, it is easier to disrespect them as a human.
Satan thinks we are worthless and he does try to destroy us.
Someone who does not value a relationship, will not honor it.
Indifference is probably worst than hate as at least there is some emotion attached to hate.

I went to the ER of a hospital a few blocks from me with chest pains. Despite my symptoms, I was asked about my deductible, told to fill out forms and wait my turn. I told the person at the desk I was leaving and would go die somewhere else. I went to a military hospital 30 min. away. I was immediately put into a wheelchair, taken to the exam room and given an EKG. I hope this woman's family is awarded MILLIONS.

actually, there is another hospital like that where my son was dieing and they refused to admit him...he wasn't on drugs. The name of that hospital is Sutter Roseville Hospital and it's here in Roseville California- we had to take him to Sacrmento where he was admitted into the hospital and recieved medical attention and lived. He's was 15 years old- it was last year

Kimmarie....I'm here in Roseville also and believe Sutter Roseville is a Private hospital and has the right to refuse service depending upon the nature of the illness and if the patient does not have health coverage. Was this the case??? If not, that's pretty shitty.

Listen to Joe Hicks (the guest). The hospital wasn't held accountable for its mistakes for YEARS because it was a SYMBOL.
One thing he doesn't mention was that there was a requirement for the employees to be from the black community.
All hospitals should hire employees based on the skills and education of the people NOT RACE.
