| i live in a beautiful community that is very low in crime and our officers are honorable and the community sticks together with the officers. we make a difference because were not on youtube calling all black women welfare moms lol i own businesses and homes in a nice neighborhoods that are diverse and the blacks are the majority and we have no problems like this. don't disrespect me. i know i don't live in philly! |

| Don't worry about our screening process we do what we have to do we have famalies to go home to as well and when we get a call on a suspected shooting we have split decisions to make. Why don't you people train your children to be law abiding citizens and it will make our job a lot easier |

| I will worry about the screening process because I know for a fact that there are some deep issues within the force. My husband protects this country as well so it is my business and I feel it is our duty to make sure that our officers are mentally stable. I also think that decisions need to be made in a matter of seconds and that is were mental stability becomes an issue. I don't want a doctor who has nerve damage working in a plastic surgery field. Do you understand what I am saying? |

| I have been on the force for 10 plus years and every situation is different but you have some officers that may handle a situation different than others and they usually end of getting killed. I was shot as a rookie and I told myself that I will not try to be political correct with 4 men in a vehicle with warrants |

If you responded on a call about 4 black youths from a 911 call with description, tags and route taken within several days of a co-worker getting killed for just checking on a site, than how would you feel? | If it was me I may have shot only until I felt safe I think they acted on emotions due to the horrible events that happened prior to the sean bell case. I just think that some of them reacted in a way that they felt would preserve their own safety while the one cop acted off of pure emotion and snapped shooting several times and there is no justifying that. Maybe if he was that unstable he should have taken time off. I'm not saying don't shoot but when there down stop. |

| O.K. I know we are all human even cops, so I can try to be...a little more understanding towards the situations that they encounter on a daily basis. I just don't think I can do that for this situation though. SO I do agree you guys have it hard but I hate to see senseless killing from ether side. I hate to even talk about this. Now everybody fears the cops and kids disrespect the cops, everyone I know has been wronged by a cop at least once in their life for no reason.
