technically you should be breathing out during the whole concentric contraction not just the peak because holding the breath puts pressure in your abdomen which can result in a peice of intestine ending up in your ball bag- inguinal hernia. and you dont want that

yea roidsa cna be used ok, but with young persons it is VERY risky. If he has that is. Personally I NEVER use the straight bar for a curl or reverse curl, it places too much stress onto the wrists for my liking. Thanks for posting thew vid though.
