seen muse twice, and have the absolution dvd... they make a SHIT load of noise.. yet in to clips this dvd doesn't seem that great.

Matt Bellamy does that, he asks for "more crowd shots" in the DVDs because he likes to see people being emotionally drawn into his music rather than it all being 99% shots of them. I read that in NME this month.

Basically it's impossible to replicate the MASSIVE sound system (like bass) of a stadium gig like that through any home sound system.
Also they've not recorded the venue or it would be full of reverb. They've recorded from the mixer and mixed it with ambient noise, turning down the audience.

it's more.. i don't know something about this audio feels like it lacks, especially in contrast to absolution tour dvd.
although as BHM1712 said, it's probably because it's not the proper release.
