I was simply posting a quote I retrieved from a website in an attempt to explain the lyrical content of this song to somebody who was inquiring about them that is all. This song was written by Andy Prieboy of Wall Of Voodoo fame, and included on his album Upon My Wicked Son. It is about a girl with AIDS and conveys the anger and emotions the disease can bring about.The Concrete Blonde version was sung mainly by Johnette, with Andy doing backing vocals, and was the last song on their album Bloodletting.

This song was actually written about a woman with AIDS. This film clip is really well done though; the dishevelled homeless guy with the "Vote Conservative" sign shows in just a few seconds exactly what is wrong with America. :(

well skoal318 first off as I have stated earlier the photos from Africa came from an aids awareness site so I DO pay homage to the fact that the song was written about a woman with aids second many of the pictures match the words being sung and the rest are artistic interpretation so sorry if you didn't enjoy it but don't be telling people to f themselves just because you didn't like it
