Tuesday, some people were fueling, and stocking up. (July 22)[Notes:various shots of] Dolly was just a tropical storm when it roared through Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula -- SOT: sleep through most of it .. Pretty uneventful for me. It brought high surf to Cancun -- strong winds ... And rains heavy enough to flood roads. [Notes:NASA satellite shot]But a look from space shows Dolly now churning in warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where it's gaining strength. [Notes:NOAA storm tracker] Forcasters say it should veer west, and slam into land just south of the U.S. - Mexico border, either late today, or early Wednesday - as a category one Hurricane. On south padre island, campers scrambled early Tuesday morning, *packing up* to get out of harms way.. Just as the wind st
