I was a bit stunned that Sen.Obama who has been toted as a great speaker fumbled so much during questioning. It seemed as if he was trying to find the right answer to speak to all people. I would have respected him more if he spoke plainly and firmly on what he stands for.

I can see why people feel McCain did better. Obama seemed to be all over the place. For such a great speaker, this is disappointing.
On the other hand, it seems that when McCain is toted as doing well, people say it's because his answers were trite and PC. He just said what he knew he SHOULD say, in that environment. And this frustrates me, cuz it's like the poor guy is damned is he does well, and damned if he doesn't.
I'm undecided, but let's be fair. McCain did better here.

This was the very first time I ever saw Obama and I was blown away by his poise, thoughtfulness, and how closely his positions mirrored my own. I am so excited by the possibility of a politician I respect, admire, and agree with in the White House!
