Amazing Grace using throat singing overtones

Video Description:
(Correction from the video): doing a little overtone singing on the hymn "Amazing Grace" (not Tuvan). For those of you that are much experienced I appreciate your comments and your thoughts. Just to let people know, I am intentionally doing the more Western approach by not making my voice throaty like the authentic Tuvan/Mongolian style. I am a classical vocalist so I prefer not to produce nodules.

Very cool. It's fun doing what you just did in harmony (with someone else) It's crazy cool... Sometimes, one person (in the right room) can make two different overtones. So then it's like 4 part. FUCK YEAH (enthusiastic choir nerd :))

I love this. Our choir has tuning and overtone practice everyday. I have officially accomplished this! and it's not something you can learn, we can all do it, it's just the matter od mastering the ability we already possess. :]

If you listen closely to other tuvan throat singing, this is not quite the way other people are manipulating their vocal chords. The others have a more "gutteral" sound to their voice. I don't consider this throat singing.
