but if you get good enough you can make this a damb good virus(not leathal but anoying.) like a made a batch that appends its code to outher batches and eventually spreads itself out into every batch file on your computer. and some batches are used on start up so it makes it a bitch to get rid of

there are some versions of windows that use a different set of code than XP. Such as W95-98 they dont use the same cmd as XP

how do you make a .bat work as a .exe?

you dont, you make a shortcut and the location is SHUTDOWN -s -t 01
if you want to make it take a little longer for it to shutdown, you change the 01 (thats the number of seconds.
to send a .bat as a .exe though, you would have to compress it with a self extractor, but that would still be sending a .bat it would just make it more likable to the person opening it.
