Wild Horse Gather
Uploaded by: imnews
Video Description:
Rick Harmon flys low as he directs band of wild horses to makeshift corral at the Twin Peaks Herd Management Area that straddles the California/Nevada border about 30 miles northeast of Susanville. The Bureau of Land Managment is rounding up about 1,000 wild horses and burros to balance the population against the needs of mule deer, pronghorn antelope and permitted livestock.

let the horses be.
jesus christ.
lets take americas pride and flush it down the pot.
Shame. Some nice little horses there too. Now they'll kick the crap out of each other, die on long jouneys, and hey! sold to italy.
Hit the nail right on head they did.
BML Bugurs tonight guys!
Dirty fuckers. I hope they all bloody die.
Just my two cents.
He also weighted herds according to how pure "spanish" they were. The more spanish the more valuable. Odd that even the red necks buy this arbitrary selection. It allows the BLM to eliminate all but the "valuable". How American! The remaining herds are essentially bred for potential adopters by the BLM.
Both are doing well and are very much loved. I highly recommend adopting a wild horse. They are fun to train and are very loyal.
