Uploaded by: ChrissyoSpace
Video Description:
The planet Jupiter from the 24-05-2007. Its moon Io was transitting at the time and is the bright dot that can be seen to the lower left of the planet.
Taken with my 10" F5 newtonian on an EQ6 mount. I used a 2" 26mm eyepiece with a 2" 2X barlow lens.

| Well I used a 10" Newtonian telescope for this image. However it's a bit trickier than that, because I got extra magnification from the camera I was using. But you can get good views of Jupiter through most beginner range amateur telescopes (like an 8", or my 10"). |

| Very nice, ChrissyoSpace, congratulations. Your EQ6 provides a very smooth tracking, doesn't it? I've noticed no high frequency vibrations, so that your final images look so sharp. |
