lol Actually, if you watch the movies on a computer monitor or HD TV & look carefully, you will see that Snape's hair (Alan's black wig) is actually soft & shiny clean! Yes, in the books JKR describes it as greasy, but that's not how it is in the movies. It *is* always falling in his eyes, though, which I love!!

In reply to the person asking about the clip where Snape is laughing - I found a vid here on YouTube that has behind the scenes footage of Alan laughing - it looks like it's from the same set where the still photos that I mentioned above were taken - looks kinda weird & blows the image! lol

Well, at least in some of the scenes! lol His hair does look quite clean & shiny in the counter curse scene, for example - it looked its best there - more natural, & it also looks longer, which I like better. I don't think the same wig was used all of the time - it looks different sometimes.

sum1's mighty obsessed, a common thing in fanfics is that it's just really fine hairs and steam from the cauldrons makes it look greasy. or a protective charm in case of cauldron explosions? many ideas

Well.. Video as itself is really nice and worth looking. :) But I don't like the idea of combining Severus Snape with other characters played by Alan Rickman. No offence meant.
And it would be better if you stay with one kind of presentation - viedos or photos. When you put them together it looks rather... hm... not as good as it could be.
Anyway, I like it.
