It's definitely a high speed camera. "High speed" simply means that it has a high frame rate. It would still be "real time" until you slowed it down. An ordinary camera only shoots around 24 frames per second or so, where as a high speed shoots at least several hundreds of frames per second (some shoot much higher). Slow motion with an ordinary camera would look very jumpy, but this was smooth.
Kind of cheesy video though...
