Word. By the way, that's a terrible thing, to say anyone sounds like Carlos Mencia... That guy does suck.. I don't want him to die, his humor just sucks & he's kind of a copycat comedian, ya know? Get your own jokes, Mencia.
I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank, though.
yeah, saying that ... ( 1 month ago by apbf)
yeah, saying that will surely get you beaten..huge insult to a person. yeah, i know, if he keeps on, no matter how 'humorous' it is, it'll get him in trouble, with the wrong people, no joke will help him then. its insane what people do for a paycheck.

Ya know, for unchecked millions, I'd probably do it too. Ha!

Alrite, so everyone who cares (and many who don't) know, I think George Carlin is/was the man. Even when he played Mr. Conductor on the kid's show Shining Time Station...
Man, I still watch that show.

How can anyone watch this video clip and not say that this was George Carlin at his best before he started being vulgar and profane in his routines? I laughed myself silly while watching this.

Actually, if you look up his "7 Words You Can't Say on Television" routine, it appeared on an HBO Special he did in 1978, six years after his Tonight Show appearance on Johnny Carson alongside Flip Wilson.

I just want you to notice how nobody here agree's with your previous statement.
Him being vulgar and profane is merely your close-minded (and moronic, don't forget moronic) opinion - which you are entitled to.
However, I also have the right to my opinion and my opinion is that you have no right to your opinion. So BLOW ME!
That has to be the ... ( 2 weeks ago by Rawk4Life)
That has to be the most one-sided, ignorant comment I've ever witnessed. How are you going to tell me that you're entitled to an opinion by saying that I am not entitled to my opinion? If you don't like it, fine, but don't go crucifying me just because you disagree. About the 'agreeing,' just because no one has said openly on here that they have a similar viewpoint as myself does not imply that there are none that agree.
The opinion comment ... ( 2 weeks ago by dratahth)
The opinion comment was a george carlin quote, just so you know ;). If you don't like it, please, blow it out your ass.
- about the 'agreeing'... I did mention that nobody on *here* agrees with you - hence, nobody wants to read about your low opinion of a comedy genious' later routines.
FYI- to my knowledge, crucifying christians stopped quite a long time ago now. (unfortunatley)

Educate yourself ... ( 6 days ago by Rawk4Life)
Educate yourself and watch a few clips from comedian Brad Stine. He has a Dennis Leary-esque vibe to his style, but doesn't curse or use sexual connotations. If George Carlin is a genious because he used profanity to get his points across, then I must be a well skilled drummer because I can air drum in sync with some of my favorite songs. I know it's a dumb analogy, but I have to make it that way for you to understand it.
"He only uses that ... ( 2 hours ago by Rawk4Life)
"He only uses that language to enhance the character of his speech - if you can't appreciate that, it's you're loss tbh."
A comedian can also use weird analogies and funny catch phrases to get their points across too. I truly don't see how profanity enhances any comedian's performance. If you ask me, I think it's just an excuse to raise the controversial bar.
