Hello there. A friend sent this to me. I have never really watched anything based on Manga. I know there are different types of animation so you will have to forgive if I say it wrong or label wrong and feel free to correct me as well :o) I thought it was a cool video and very well put together peace--Jammie

This is based off of the manga under the same title "Ghost in the Shell" by Shirow Masamune.
The director, Mamoru Oshii, has received high acclaim for his work on these films.
Kenji Kawai, the composer/musical artist, was also given praise for his work in these films and others such as the french film "Avalon"

also, most work based off the popular animation style of Japanese art is considered "anime" (Ann-uh-may), this genre (i suppose it is one) is looked down in most Art communes, however it grows ever popular.

Hey cool thanks for the info I appreciate it. That Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust sounds awesome. I love scifi. I will also check out the others hear. I have heard of Steamboy and Spirited away. I know this is probably not the same category but I thought Advent Children--Final Fantasy was a gorgeous movie as well. I know it is probably not in the same category (sorry) Thanks again--Jammie
