No you dont pay tax if you earn less than 2000ish dollar a year. and if you earn more than that you will tax 30% until you reach50000 dollar a year, than you will have to add the tax for the rich. This is because we dont like class sagment here in sweden, not as you.

2620bluntsmoker, youre not right at all, im spanish and i know what supermegadeathkiller is talking about, and he is right, those taxes are useful and are well used. at least, if you lived in a country like spain you could talk about corruption and paying for nothing, but as far as i know, sweden, and northern countries in general, probably have the best standard of life all over the world.
its better to pay a bit more to have a well organised, full of services and more equal society.
