i've been through 2 of these sets after not being happy with the results i went out and bought a 180 watt Bass Sub 12" ,
which gives like 90% better bass and is like 10 of those little things put together
but i still use the satellite speakers for the treble and i just disconnected the sub from the reciever..
now its a mixture of treble and MASSIVE bass

Actually ppl, i conneted the subwoofer from the Sony MHC-RG 595 mini hi fi system to the logitech amp...it can rly push that badass 12 kg subwoofer... just sick :D

to open that x-530 sub box u have to take the driver out, and then u can take the amplifier out from the back side, but to actually realy open it you can destroy it or u can be very gentle and try to take it out part by part u can maybe make it...i tried it once and then noticed i can't soo i just put everything back...

Thanks, mate!.... Finally I figured it out :) Unfortunately my woofer stopped working (before it was just stopping periodically) and as I am not electrician type, so I guess I won't fix it :'(

some help me!!! i want to connect my ipod directly to the speakers however since there are 3 different audio cords (orange, green and black) i can only plug one in therefore i will only like have 2 speakers playin the sound not the full 5. my question is; do i need some kind of adapter??? if so whats it called and how much does it cost. cheers everyone, much appreicated

Of course you can connect them with everything that has a sound output port or a headphone jack, you just need a power plug in range hehe...

the trebble is very exitable
and the sub doesnt fully turn off at lowest sub volume also it rattles slightly
but apart from that it is a very good set

dude all you need is the adapter that came with the system unless you got the early model and a ipod 8.5mm to av
