He probably thinks that because of when Ron Paul said that the government banning prayer time from schools, and running schools, is illegal. Which it is. It's a case where federal government banned religion, which it has no right to do, and it doesn't need to have a hand in education either.

Yes but allowing the schools to choose for themselves and run themselves is not the same thing as abolishing the separtion between church and state. He would just be separating the educaional system from the government.

Ron Paul doesnt believe in a seperation of church and state as written in his own artical "The War on Religion" quote "The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers." That alone disqualfies him in my eyes as President. Dont buy into all of Ron Pauls media hype... Look into Mike Gravel and you will realise hes the better choice for President.

When you remove government from the equation, and the HMOs and the insane state mandated insurance companies, you will find that costs go down. In a free market, quality goes up due to competition, and the costs go down. Ron Paul worked as a doctor for $3 an hour at one point in his life, as you may know. To say that poor people won't be able to find affordable medical care in a free market is naive.

Americans think the danger is terrorism. They don't understand that Terrorists cannot take away habeus corpus, the Bill of Rights, the Constitution. Terrorists cannot suspend the constitutional gov't, abolish the separation of powers. TERRORISM CANNOT PICK US UP, SHUT US UP, OR ARREST US. The threat of terrorism is nothing like the threat of our own gov't in the name of fighting terrorism.
