| nah, look any vai / satriani influnce you hear is Beck being influenced by them. Listen back to Beck before Vai et al appeared and his style is nothing like this at all - not that he hasn't always been a good guitar player, but, unlike page [who said he tried to play like EVH and couldn't] Beck has kept up to date. Personally I like the mix of old school / new school that he plays these days. |
