Hey, just watch, all the Gravel fans on here are going to mod you down to -5 because they can't handle the truth.

Mike Gravel is a totalitarian piece of shit. Get his socialist ass out of my party.
Libertarian Debates ... ( 7 months ago by n8c07)
Libertarian Debates? Really? Do any of you actually care? Was this done in a High School Cafeteria?
Gravel is more ... ( 7 months ago by choosenow)
Gravel is more progressive than libertarian. But as a progressive, I support Gravel because I don't think McKinney of the Green party would make a good candidate and voting for Nader just got boring (jk).
And in all honesty, both the Gravel supporters and the people that don't believe Gravel is a libertarian are both getting obnoxious. Let's have a nice discussion about why one likes/dislikes Gravel or whatever candidate one supports. That'd be more productive than bashing.
Jeez, I laugh at ... ( 6 months ago by MarkSukhram)
Jeez, I laugh at some of the comments I read here. Fighting over who is more libertarian or not.. I'm not here to bash Ron Paul, but didn't he turn down the libertarian nomination offer? Yes, he is loyal to the Republicans and that in its own says enough to me about Ron Paul. If I were Mike I probably would have done the same thing he has done, he loves his country and is willing to do anything to try and save it, that tells me more than enough about him. PS. Mike is light years ahead of RP.
Ron Paul had to ... ( 6 months ago by egosumabbas)
Ron Paul had to turn down the Libertarian Party nomination due to legal reasons: he was also running to preserve his congressional seat. Since Mike Gravel isn't in congress, he was relatively free to jump parties. Google "sore loser laws".
listen to how ... ( 6 months ago by oldhacks)
listen to how highly Mike speaks of the Libertarian party. Not pandering. He's stating real issues that are Libertarian positions that he believes in and why he's proud to be a part of the Libertarian party.

excuses excuses. the fact is he claimed to be a Libertarian during the entire race then after you raised 20,000,000 dollars for him he turned his back on you.
Mike Gravel joined the Libertarian party because he's more of a Libertarian then Ron Paul. Ron ran as a Libertarian in 88. What's changed? excuses excuses.
You're just showing ... ( 6 months ago by oldhacks)
You're just showing everyone how ignorant you are to the issues we face as a nation. Are gas prices a state crisis or a national crisis? Is the war in Iraq a state issue or a national crisis? Is the rising cost of living a state issue or a national issue. It's disgusting to see people not showing respect for the man that saved their ass from being sent to kill or be killed in the middle east.
ending the draft is a million times more Libertarian then anything Ron has ever done in congress.
Ron Paul IS a ... ( 6 months ago by egosumabbas)
Ron Paul IS a Libertarian, he has a lifetime membership to the party. Do I have mail you the laws showing you he can't run as a Libertarian in 2008 to prove it? And as far as the conspiracy goes that he's in it for the money, he had no idea that running for president would have any success whatsoever. This is why Ron Paul endorsed Bob Barr as a Libertarian nominee.
Also: Mike Gravel joined the LP what... 1 month ago? He's also endorsed the Green candidate for president.
Actually, gas ... ( 6 months ago by egosumabbas)
Actually, gas prices are a global issue-the price of gas is determined on the world market. Don't like the fact that the price of gas is going up? You could always buy a share of a petrol company as a hedge, or you could simply drive less. Cost of living? That is only a national issue in terms of inflation, otherwise, your cost of living is determined primarily by where to live. Living in the city is more expensive. I agree that the war is a national issue.
If Ron were a man ... ( 6 months ago by oldhacks)
If Ron were a man of his word he'd be running as a Libertarian today!
don't mind them ... ( 6 months ago by oldhacks)
don't mind them overmind. They can't do simple math. Mike is about 3 stated declarations more Libertarian then Ron Paul but they'll find ways to ignore that reality at all costs.
pshh. You have yet ... ( 6 months ago by oldhacks)
pshh. You have yet to provide a single argument that Ron Paul is more Libertarian then the guy THATS ACTUALLY RUNNING AS A LIBERTARIAN.
I've provided ... ( 6 months ago by egosumabbas)
I've provided several, don't be a douche.
He never promised ... ( 6 months ago by egosumabbas)
He never promised to run as a Libertarian this year, in fact quite the opposite, so there was no word to break. Stop making shit up.
How many times did ... ( 6 months ago by oldhacks)
How many times did he claim to live by Libertarian principles? every other word was Libertarian this Libertarian that. But yet here we are watching a Libertarian debate and where is he? He's in washington writing up ear marks for his buddies.
cost of living is ... ( 6 months ago by oldhacks)
cost of living is directly effected by gas prices. How do you heat your home? natural gas is California's main weakness. All our food is SHIPPED thats oil! cost of going to WORK - OIL. man you guys that are fighting Mike's bid are just clueless. Its really embarrassing that I have to explain to you these extremely obvious details. "inflation" is not the be all answer to everything.

"Loose change" ... ( 6 months ago by oldhacks)
"Loose change" produced by Alex Jones. Alex Jones picks up after that trend faded and starts filling peoples heads with conspiracies then Ron comes and poses as the guy that's here to save us all from the conspiracies that Alex has been teaching people. Its so obvious it hurts. and the fact that you refuse to look at the facts just shows your unwillingness to actually stand up for yourself and your country.
look if you keep ... ( 6 months ago by egosumabbas)
look if you keep lying about shit I'm going to have to ban you. (1) Alex Jones didn't make Loose Change. (2) Ron Paul denied accepting any 9/11 conspiracy theory MULTIPLE TIMES. If conspiracy theorists chose Ron Paul, they're the ones who made the made the mistake.
I'll say it again so you understand. Stop spamming lies into my channel.
Let's see... Ron ... ( 6 months ago by egosumabbas)
Let's see... Ron Paul votes down nearly every spending bill, is usually one of few people to vote no on laws that violate civil liberties, advocates the dismantling of the IRS and the Federal Reserve, calls for a return to charity care instead of socialist health care, wants to decriminalize drugs, take the government out of marriage, wants to reduce our overseas presence, is against pre-emptive war, is for legalizing different currencies, wants to dismantle the FDA to allow self-medication...
Completely true. I ... ( 6 months ago by paulfor08)
Completely true. I am tired of the "conspiracy theorist" label and the trolls that repeat it.
