the 4x12 makes no difference in volume bud. its the wattage. and, an ac30 is 30 watts (i think?) of tube power, which is all anyone really needs. its fine for gigs.

no, the speakers make absolutely no difference in the volume of the amplifier. the head is what supplies the wattage and volume. technically, a combo is a head built into a speaker cabinet. theres different speakers with higher and lower wattage ratings, but all that does is increase or decrease the headroom before the speakers distort.

You not a 100% CORRECT. The output Watt ist a factor but so ist the impediance of the speakers. Ohm´s law. 4, 8 or 16 Ohm makes a drifference too.
