Ok guys so I need some help on this new decision I have been blessed to make. My band is getting a new board for me and they gave me the choice of the Roland Fantom G series or the Yamaha Motif X series. Any Suggestions or do any of yall have either boards.... con/pros?? lol anything would help

For studio you cant beat the Fantom G ! The ability to record 124 tracks in any keyboard is a producers dream. also has phantom power for your mic.Roland in my opinion has the best strings on any synth. For live I would go with the Motif XS really cuts through, and has great sounds right out of the box without those expensive ARX expansion boards. I checked both boards out and seemed to have a little difficulty navigating around the Fantom G.

I've tried pushing various buttons on women I meet in the street and they don't perform like this keyboard...actually I get arrested alot and I just don't the satisfaction this keyboard offers.

its half keyboard half sinthz. fantom is just keyboard and about the new program that you cant change your drums on the fantom-you dont need it :D:D:D i guess you have a drummer in your band :D:D but sinth sounds are very needed now

This guy is amazing at what he does....its like, i bought my yamaha P-140 recently and after watching this i feel like buying this one too....hes realy good. Not just like those guys that almost dont know how the things work, Bert knows the features of the products very well and hes also realy good at demonstrating them thanks to his playing, wich is also awesome! Gz Yamaha u got yourself one of the best salesman there is, no doubt.

Loads of faders and loads of knobs, the biggest being Smorenburg. What a clown. How can Yamaha expect to be taken seriously with this guy working for them? I'm sure he has an endorsement contract with Red Bull as well. How else is one able to demonstrate every single feature in 10-minutes?
