Oh - and ONE other thing. I grew up in a family of secularists. Additionally, during the 90's I had an EGG and a cat scan done to test my health overall, and in fact I am in perfect condition. I remain indifferent to the existence of ghosts and the paranormal because I can not claim to know thoroughly the subjective experiences of other people and making a serious, solid proclaimation of any kind is taking a shot at one's own foot.

So true. I was actually watching a doco about a tribe in Africa and the poor buggers had an ant invasion along with termites etc - and rather than use the remedies provided by the earth, they just asked their chef to pray to the gods to make the bugs go away - then gave them offerings. Food out of the mouths of their children to apese the 'gods'. If they had just thought rationally it would have been a different story.
