It's called a run. They give you the powerups because you don't have infinite health or ammo in runs. He's also not doing tricks.

DaxFoXPie well then do all this by yourself, aswell powerups are spawned on each maps, made for each part of it, if there's a mega health, there's a reason why it's putted there, and it's there to pick it up. So powerups aint pathetic. -.-
