You're incredibly confusing. What's your argument here? P wants to change the dynamics of rap music. The same primitive genre of music you despise. P wants to usher forth this neo-rap genre encompassing positivity, pluralism, love, strong community, education, so on and so forth. And your against this? Why? It's starting to seem like You're the one with the issue here. By the way, what's with your fatuous "kthanks" expression? Is that your own personal cheeky way of closing a paragraph?

My arguement is simple. Master P is a hypocrite. He basically lived up to what Congress stereotyped as Rap. And now that he's settle down and made most of his fame and money he's not talking about drugs, thug life, or hoes anymore as heard in MOST of his previous albums. its funny when you fight to keep the one thing that made you famous and really hasn't changed over the years at all. rap TODAY still talks about drugs, guns, pimpin, and hoes. so i guess Master P should feel right at home huh?

Ah, that wasn't well said, he doesn't understand media and executives' influence on the direction of HipHop. Who wants 2 hear the disenfranchised talk about their problems? Worse, who wants their kids 2 PAY for records written by these voiceless kids? "Not me!" Says Mr. CEO. "How do we steer our kids clear of this crap?" "I know, push the RESULT - not the CAUSE. We'll package drug use, gangs & misogyny. No 1 will realize that we're just recycling the problem of the disenfranchised."

We went from Furious5, Treacherous3 (TESTING our VOICE) --> XClan, PE, Paris, BDP (using our voice to identify the CAUSES of our situation) --> NWA, Gangsta Rap (using multiple voices to identify the RESULTS of those CAUSES) --> 50Cent, etc. (to using our voice to become part of the PROBLEM/CAUSE).

rap and hip hop is phasing out..the new rap thats coming out they are the last, its just a matter of time before people really start getting tired of the same crap over and over...I used to be a hip hop rap fan but it got old. Master P is doing something good with his life now but his solution probably will not work, the ghetto is more complex. The problem starts with the parents and ends with society.

I like MasterP(always did). His statements started off good...but, to be real about it..., after listening to this vid. after a couple of minutes..., all I've heard is Blah Blah Blah! His speech was well prepared for the point he wanted to make but, he ain't really saying anything that, no one haven't said or, heard, before. To make it worst..., some of those people in that room looks like, they don't even care what he's talking about and, not really even listening to him.
