well in this case I used FL STUDIO... but now I use more external VST instruments and Reason (you can get cool sounds from there)... also I master my tracks in NUENDO... a very good sequencer and tool for masterizing

Yeah you can assign diferent samples for each pad... you only need to put all the samples in one Layer, map the keyboard for each sample to avoid all the instruments play at the same time if you press one note... and finally adjust the correct note to each pad, and that's all ;)

i got 2 ques for you abt the axiom (im considering buying it)
1)can you Latch the Arpegiator from the axiom like you can in the akai mpk 49?
4) can you change the time division of the arpegiation from the axiom?

1.- No, the axiom has no integrated arpeggiator, so the only way of latching the arpeggiator is directly with the SEQUENCER
2.-You can change the division of the arpeggiation with the axiom by linking the note quantity into a knob or slider

im thinkin of gettin myself an axiom 49? they worth the money? can EVERYTHING on the keyboard be linked to something individually? ie. all the sliders on top can they be assigned to different effects for one individual sound eg: porta, filter cutoff filter rez just for an individual sound?
It worths every dollar, but I want a portable keyboard and I'm thinking in the Xboard 25 from Emu
