this family in japan owns a pet king penguin, and they've trained it so that it will walk all the way to the fish market with its little backpack to get fish everyday. it's super cute, and i just wanted to share it here cuz the site's kinda slow

That's cool.
To anyone that thinks that that's cruel, I honestly don't think it is. He/she seems happy. Not to mention it seems to have a loving family.
BTW, I think THEY might croak before he/she does. That might be pretty awful...

This family in japan actually found this penguin hurt and they nursed him back to health. They set him free but he refused to go.

Wild animals must live in their natural habitat. There are organizations all over the world dedicated to animal rescue. Don't keep these animals like this. It's humilliating!!

The people in the video are speaking a wonderful example of Mandarin--Listen closely and you will hear 'peng you' (pronounced pung yo--roughly). 'Peng you' is NOT a phrase in Japanese--this is obvious and clear Mandarin.

That's wrong. The narrator is indeed Chinese and the show is a chinese show; however, the penguin lives in Japan and the lady from the fish store speaks Japanese. This same video footage was used by several countries, but it is indeed from Japan.
