This is based on a true story. Cathy Rigby developed anorexia & bulimia after her coach asked her to loose weight. At the age of 19, she gave up gymnastics and battled with eating disorders for the next 12 years. Years later, she finally overcame her disorder.
U.S gymnast Christy Henrich died of anorexia in 1994.
