Economic freedom benefits everyone. Come live to Europe if you think otherwise. Anyway, the USA isn't the champion of freedom any longer. Canada in America, Ireland in Europe and a bunch of small Asian countries are very competitive in terms of having a system of liberty and equal justice. But in terms of big countries (and I mean by their GDP and population), the USA is still very well qualified.
If you want to look at what made the USA great, look into its past, not other countries.

I wish someone could post some old Fox shows when Bush's tax cut for the super-wealthy was being debated.
The Fox experts were asking what the Democrats had against the stock market because if the tax cut went into effect the stock market would soar.
They argued whether the DOW would go to 16,000 or 18,000 or higher?
Actually the DOW went nowhere -- has been flat under Bush.
When Clinton operated w/ a balanced budget the DOW went up over 300%!

Remember our national spending was way way up under Bush, maybe that was more the reason we have the weakness in the DOW.
Also, for most of the time under Clinton we had close to a deadlocked federal government. Spending was much lower then.
Heaven help us if we see democrats with control of both the Congress and the White House. Or if a RINO such as McCain is elected.
