exactly, besides not all DT songs are like this- this one's a combination of their other songs so no wonder it may seem to have no 'harmony' to some people. You guys can't judge the band after hearing only this song.

Wow. Contrived technical exercises? Surely you haven't listened to Spiral Architect (I don't mean to bash SA, those guys are kickass). Just because the melody in DT's songs isn't always in a major or minor scale or the time signature is 4/4, it doesn't mean that it's not music.
