This is a clip from the great movie Urgh! A Music War of the band Invisible Sex.
On Feb 3rd 2008 Tom Toomey was found and he is in fact the guitar player that ripped it up on that song! :)
Also new news Another Member has been found in June 2008, the founder of the group and lead singer "Gene Wow" aka as "Gene Sex"
Gene has just made a myspace music page
that has some other tunes on it that I'm sure you haven't heard and other cool stuff

Their is definetly a Stranglers sound to the lead singers voice, but like someone else pointed out, less harsh. But dont you also think he sounds kinda French, Marie et les Garcons maybe, could they speak english? Awesome video by the way.

The riddle of Invisible Sex has been unlocked. It's not up to me to expose the greatness that is Invisible Sex. If someone wants to step forward and "out" themselves, it's up to them :-) If not, it will always be a great mystery. Again, this song and guitar solo is the shit!!!

this is the only thing that was included in the movie, and it probably is the only song that was recorded too. In any case nothing else has been made available. That pretty much goes for most of the other bands too that did have other things recorded.

OMG! Thanks so much for posting this video. I used to have the "Urgh!" VHS tape until I stupidly sold it years ago. This was my favorite performance because of the incredible guitarist! You can pogo & head bang at the same time! And all these years later, by the end of the song I still want to BREAK SOMETHING!! I can't wait to look up this guy's website. I read somewhere this may have been Invisible Sex's only live performance-if that's true then thank God it was caught on tape! Thanks again!

there is usually a copy of it for sale on ebay every week, i believe these is one there now. Also google searching urgh a music war torrent will get you results to download the film. There are also people that sell copies but i wont go into that..

Hello All,
I wrote the song and sang lead vocal. I wrote a little bit about us in the yahoo group site. We were all called Gene; Gene Yus, Gene I, Gene Machine etc. Tom Toomey was indeed the guitarist but I feel it would be wrong to "out" any other members. Tradition 1 in fellowship of madness requires complete anonymity rather like tradition 12 in the 12 steps. Love to all X

Sorry one more thing. At this gig, at the ICA in The Mall London, we were supporting Toyah and her fans kept gobbimg on us all through the show, thank God for the paper body suits. Anyway the oast number we did was a cover of Athur Brown's fire and "the man with no brain, the man who's quite insane," Gene Banana came out in a leather thong and blew flames at the first 5/6 rows fantastic. This track was filmed too, I wonder where it is?

My god...This was and is still the most awesome concert EVER! :-) I was 16 0r 17 when I saw it and pretty much was just blown away at how kick ass this song was. This was when music had a whole other level of sincerity and coolness. Sigh... Thank you.

had the movie when i was a kid,many years ago, and i still remember the first time i heard this song, i always felt it was one of the best ones in the movie(and there is lots great in the movie)
