So the point is..
A 3.800 lbs car made by a company that used to be called DATSUN (they made their money from cheap ugly pickups the jap LADA) beats the best Porsche 911 ever made, AUDI´s R8 lol "supercar", CHEVY´s Z06 Vette, LAMBO´s Gallardo, Lotus Elise and anything from BMW that starts with an M.
And wait for the V-Spec version with at least 550hp, 100lbs less and ceramic brakes.
Indeed amazing NISAN GTR world first multipurpose super car.

what a childish way to judge over a car. "yak yak my car is 0,4 seconds faster than yours!" seems to work only for americans driving a quater mile race while normal people just go on the autobahn.
And do you really think that nordschleife lap times are significant? thats a track where the perfect lap doesn't exist

what track is significant? laguna seca(no...too american), siverstone(nope too non german) Car engineers use that as a base due to the various conditions that you encounter. Top speed, bumpy roads, etc.
I love Porsches all day long....and I think If I had 500k I would buy the Carrera GT without a second thought[I love the exhaust note]:-). I'm a car lover. Ferrari's, VWs, audis...love them all. and I hate when people insult any of them however how cheap or expensive they are.

Ive never stated that Nissan will ever have the legacy of Porsche, Ferrari or Bugatti, I would feel offended having a GTR and seeing some granny or blondy airhead going "WOW look! its a Nissan a GTR".
My point is that beyond the miracle of corvette, performance is no more a secret reserved for car aristocracy. See the Nissan GTR as Tiger Woods who was a caddy and you´ll understand.
