The Ocarina was invented some 12000 years ago in China. In the 19th century (yes that is only roughly 200 years ago) a man named Guiseppe Donati took the Ocarina and developed it into a more of a concert instrument.Yes the name is derived from Italian meaning "Little Goose", but thats the name and only the name, Do your research, Fool. The Ocarina was invented in China thousands of years ago, Guiseppe created 10 and 12 hole versions of the Ocarina. You make yourself look like a fool.
