The album version is better in parts, as is this. I really like the album version, but this version does have some very good parts over the album version :P

what do you mean "album version". there is no album version of this song. sure, there is the intro riff later used in "the end of the line" but there's also the solo part later used in "all nightmare long". this isn't a version of anything.

I have to say I'm really happy they didn't use that chorus on the album. I was worried lol
They did keep the good parts, like the intro and after solo thing. Unfortunately they didn't keep the "I've been a ramble, the light sets me free" thing; that was a good one.
