No, "RainOverYou" you do not sound like a loser. You are right. There is no reason to be mean. Am I the only one who thinks the back up singer adds something positive to this song? I like this version better than the studio recording.

Love this song and her music. You do realize that musicians look at each other for signs for changes in songs, and feed off each others energy. She wouldn't have the backup vocalist (guitarist) sing if he wasn't good, I am sure this wasn't the first song on the set, it's usually an encore and they were more than likely tired.
