One of the most beautiful pieces of piano music ever written for a film, period.
The arrangement is at a sterling apex of where classical meets modern visceralism, and the result is this profoundly feral, unbridled, windswept catharsis...and as if the first half isn't rapturous enough, that moment at 1:20, is almost designed to sound like the melody was caught in amber...like it was frozen into a photographic reflection of itself.
Utterly breathtaking craftsmanship to this piece.

There is a boy in my class who can play this. The first time i heard it by him í didn´t know time and space, know when i heard it again i cry nonstop...you van´t describe this with words or a lyric. This IS too beutiful, it expresses eferything at the same time, you get overwhelmed with feelings. Your heart van´t take it...i stil cry...Thank you..

The Piano is undoubtedly one of the most profound and beautifully crafted films of the 20th century. I was so young when I watched it with my mom (it was rated R in theaters), but this movie left an indelible impression on me. How fragile life is and how beautiful no matter what!!!

lol ... i don't know what version you play, but this is kind of complicated. I play it myself and beleive me ... the rythm's all look the same, but their not.
